World Book Day - Thursday 2nd March 23
WORLD BOOK DAY PARTY, Thursday 2nd MARCH 2023
We would like to celebrate ‘World Book Day’ this year in a variety of ways. It is on Thursday 2nd March 2023 and we would like the children (and the staff!) to dress up as a character from a book or come to school in their party clothes.
Please don’t think this means you have to spend lots of money on a costume – just use what you have or your child can come in their party clothes.
If your child has PE on a Thursday please make sure that they have their trainers on. PE lessons will be done in their costumes. Any capes, crowns and other accessories will need to be removed before the PE lesson.
If you decide to wear a book character costume, enjoy designing your costumes and getting creative, but remember children have got to spend the day in them!
The book fair will be arriving on World Book Day, more details will follow.
