Dinner Ordering App information

Each pupil that registers with Cool Milk will receive a carton of semi- skimmed milk everyday, which is delivered fresh and chilled to the classroom. Their school milk will not only provide them with essential nutrients, but as it is rehydrating and energy boosting it also bridges the gap between breakfast and lunch to help children stay focused.

How to register

Milk is completely free for all children aged under five and is subsidised for children aged five and over. If you are in receipt of free school meals please contact the school office as we may be able to provide your child with free milk over the age of 5.

My child is under five

Just register by a Tuesday for your child’s free milk to start the following week.

Free milk will continue until the Friday before your child’s fifth birthday. You will receive a payment request three weeks before this time. If you wish your child to continue to receive school milk simply make a payment.

My child is over five

Complete a registration form online as soon as possible. Shortly after registering you will receive a payment request.

What payment options are there?
You can pay Cool Milk either online, over the phone or at a local PayPoint facility.

At Brownlow, our children wear the following uniform:

We have a school rule that we take pride in ourselves, and this includes dressing to impress. If you are purchasing new items, please make sure they meet our policy. Items with logos are optional. Uniforms with logos can be purchased using the MCAS app (we are a cashless school) or from the local school uniform shop KIDZONE (11-13 Leicester St, Melton Mowbray LE13 0PP).

Registration and Bookings

All children must be registered before they can attend the club. We will use the information we hold on our systems to inform us of emergency contacts and allergies. It is your responsibility to inform the school/club immediately of any changes to this information.

Places must be booked in advance via the MCAS app or website and are subject to availability, although we strongly encourage regular bookings to secure your child’s spot.

We offer several session options during school term time to suit your needs:

Fees and Payments

Family accounts will maintain a running balance, and all outstanding balances must be paid in full by the end of each half term. Please note that if payment is not received by this time, no further childcare sessions will be confirmed until the balance is cleared. We accept various payment methods, including Tax-Free Childcare and childcare voucher schemes. If you experience any difficulty with payments, please contact the school office immediately.

Cancellations and Late Collection

To cancel a booking without being charged, a minimum of 24 hours' notice is required. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed sessions due to illness or holiday without prior notice, will be charged at the full rate. Additionally, children must be collected promptly at the end of their session; persistent late collection may result in extra charges.

Club Expectations Children are expected to follow school rules, treat others with respect, and behave safely at all times. We provide healthy breakfasts, snacks and light meals at the longer sessions.
