PE and Sport Premium
We believe that Physical Education is vital to a child’s physical development and well-being. All pupils at Brownlow will receive a broad and balanced physical education curriculum in the following areas:
Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1
- Dance
- Games
- Gymnastics
Key Stage 2
- Dance
- Games
- Gymnastics
- Swimming (Y3, Y4 & Y6)
- Athletics
- Outdoor Adventurous Activities
Pupils are taught to appreciate the importance of a healthy and fit body, as part of the curriculum in PE as well as in Health Education. Brownlow Primary School maintains its enhanced Healthy Schools status.
Sport Premium 2021
Primary schools in England have been awarded a PE and Sports grant to improve the quality of PE provision. This grant is intended to inspire a generation to enjoy and participate in more sport, building a sporting legacy in each child that will keep them healthy, active and enjoying sport as they get older.
