I am writing to inform you of a slight change to the start of the school day. Today, we opened the gates at 8.30am to welcome everyone back and closed them at the usual time of 8.55am. As of the week beginning Monday 24th April, we will open the gates at 8.30am and close them at 8.45am. We will use this week to adjust to the new arrangements.
We will be trialling a new internal timetable during this term, to ensure our pupils benefit from opportunities to read and have a broader curriculum input. We also meet the government requirements for a 32.5-hour week. This is a summer trial and we will review prior to the end of term. The only slight change affecting the school community is the opening of gates in the morning.
We look forward to sharing some of our curriculum work later in the term with a series of Open Afternoons.
Many thanks and here is too a busy Summer Term!
